Peek-A-Boo (Or sometimes Peekaboo) is a short, Mario Party-style minigame created by Genogenesis7. It is Genogenesis7's first completed fangame to date, and also his first game without using an engine of some sort for basic gameplay (He did, however, take reference off of an engine for the menu screen). It was originally released to the forums as a Halloween-themed fangame, as seen by the October release date. Plans to upload it to the main site were foiled by Genogenesis7's faulty server.

Gameplay

The gameplay was criticized for being unexciting and overly simplistic, only fit for that of a short Mario Party minigame. In any case, the player takes the role of a Boo floating behind Mario, and he/she must press a key to make the Boo hide whenever Mario turns around. The player accumulates more points the longer he/she stays in the game, and the object of the game is to beat your high score by staying in the game the longest.

The game could be played with up to 3 other players, whom would all control different Boos and use different keys on the keyboard to make them hide. In this multiplayer mode, the object was to outlast your opponent Boos and the last one to be seen by Mario would be declared the winner and receive high score credit.

If the player could successfully stay in the game for at least 300 consecutive seconds, the background would be replaced with a picture of the Genoduck and an Ultra the Hedgehog Cookie Monster sound clip would play. This has been dubbed "Cookie Mode" by Genogenesis7 himself.
