A more ambitious sequel, Peasley's Rainbow Dreamland 2, was for some time being developed by Alex, until it was put on indefinite hiatus in early 2013. Not much had been revealed at that point, but it was supposed to have Disney music, the option to walk to the left and right as the player wishes, and the ability to ride in a Sockop in some of the levels.
