PHP

PHP, a self-referencing abbrevation for PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor, is a server-side website development scripting language with the capability to access databases, headers, sessions, cookies, etc. It is generally more popular than its rival languages, ASP and Perl.

PHP is popularly installed on an Apache server with the MySQL database system.

MFGG's main site, forums, and the MediaWiki software are all coded in PHP.
