The Normal Super Bros. series consists of three games of one level each that revisit the classic NES Super Mario Bros. trilogy with an added twist: the levels must be completed under the influence of a Fuzzy. Normal Super Mario Bros. was created during the holiday season of December 2008, where it, upon submission to MFGG, received a fair amount of praise for its originality and fresh take on the NES classics. Normal Super Mario Bros. 2 was completed 5 months later, using the same funky psychedelic themes as its predecessor. Normal Super Mario Bros. 3 began development months later in the early fall of 2009 and was completed upon the opening of the Nintendo Community Fangame Convention of 2009, where it received a couple of honors including "Best Mario" and "Best in Show: 1st Runner-up." The Normal Super Mario Bros. series swept most of the fangame-related awards at the 2009 MFGG Awards.

Each game features a different main character, where Mario starred in the first one, Toad in the second one, and Luigi in the third and final one. The few reoccurring themes for each game include the "Awesome Face" meme and a giant foot that shows up at the end of the game and defeats the main character.
