Nintendo vs. Everyone else is a fangame released by Press Start in 2003. The game features a bizarre and inconsistent style and many playable characters (in addition to multiple Space Ghost references).
Gameplay
Upon starting the game, the player is offered a choice between SMB2 Mario, Samus, Popo, Yoshi, Peach, Zelda, Toad (from BS Excitebike), Link, Ness and SMB1 Mario. These characters are put into three groups: jumpers, hitters and shooters. Jumpers must land on top of an enemy to defeat them, hitters utilize melee attacks and shooters utilize projectiles.
The gameplay dramatically switches often between the various worlds of the game. While the game is primarily a platformer, other worlds present the player with puzzle, adventure and rail shooter gameplay among other things.
