New Super Mario Kart is Super Mario Kart clone created by Flipiberke. It was one of MFGG's first 3D fangames, replicating the Super Mario Kart look and feel, as well as adding 3D effects, new racers and new items. It is currently the second most downloaded fan game on Mario Fan Games Galaxy since the launch of MFGG 2.0.

Sequel & Engine Remake
On December 23, 2006, Flipiberke said in a topic that he would remake New Super Mario Kart because the engine was buggy, confusing, frustrating, long, and impossible to make anything. He needed item suggestions.
While calling it a full game, he actually considered the game to be "scrapped".
Also, Flipiberke has recently announced that he is working on a sequel of New Super Mario Kart.
Here are the new additions planned for New Super Mario Kart 2:
- The ability to hold items behind you and to shoot them away
- Better controls
- New unlockables along with new tracks and items
A demo has been released.
