Multimedia Fusion Express (MMFE, formerly Click & Create) is one of Clickteam's lesser-known 'klik' products. It is a more refined version of Multimedia Fusion, and more similar to The Games Factory. Although MMFE is still used by many game developers today, it isn't as popular as TGF or MMF and is out of date when compared to MMF2 and TGF2.
CNC/MMFE is essentially the same program as TGF, with a few minor differences and additions, including:
- Word replacement. All instances of the words "game" and "level" were replaced with "application" and "frame" respectfully.
- A timeline editor, which allows for easier management of time events.
- The TGF splash screen is no longer displayed upon exiting the game.
- Less glitches than TGF.
- CNC generates .cca files instead of .gam files, although TGF and later clickteam products can open both.
Like The Games Factory, MMFE uses a drag-and-drop system for much of its interface, and generally requires little professional coding.
