Mugenmidget is a former member of Mario Fan Games Galaxy who was banned after the Phishfest in April of 2006. Before his removal, he was well-liked by most members, as well as most admins, and was bright, cheerful, and clever in an odd way in most of his posts. His name is based on his interest for the fighting game simulator Mugen.

BCB4YOM

During the days of the MFGG EZBoard, Mugen created a web page by the name of BCB4YOM which housed a collection of many of Mugen's fine artwork and a mysterious page housing information on a "secret game". After Mugen posted of his newly created website on the MFGG message board, what became known as The Great BCB4YOM Hunt began. Members searched high and low on the website in order to find the "secret game" while the message board thread blew to gigantic proportions with post after post of speculation and theory. Eventually the secret page was found and included a picture of an impressive looking Dr. Mario fan game using graphics from the contemporary Dr. Mario 64. The actual game download offered on the page differed greatly in that it contained crude sprites and haphazard, albeit awesome, game design. Many people still believe that the Dr. Mario fan game pictured in the screen shot was truly a real game and that they were being sidetracked by the "fake" game, a theory supported by various cryptic clues on the website and Mugen's mysterious banter on the message board and in AIM. To this day, that game has still not been found and the BCB4YOM website has faded into nothingness...

Did Meowth Just Say What I Think He Said?

This was a topic that Mugenmidget made on February 20, 2007, of which the title was "Did Meowth just say what I think he said?". The post was as follows:

"Basically it's "**** you Luigi" all over again, but with Pokemon Chronicles. I don't wanna tell you what I think Meowth's saying because then I'll just be putting ideas in your head. But I'm pretty ****ing sure he says what I'm hearing.

Also, be aware that my Hauppage PVR-150 uses Intervideo codecs that for some reason conflict with the installation of Windows Movie Maker up here. The worst part about this is I can't regulate the volume like I usually do, so the video is pretty quiet. I'll try to upload a volume fixed version later tonight when I can use a different computer.

Link to the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cua_PezgPYQ (Doesn't exist anymore)

Also be aware that YouTube is pretty fruity as of late, so if the video doesn't show up I can use "Delmore's trick" to get it up and running."

The video was from Pokemon Chronicles and it featured Meowth with flowers. Meowth started climbing the ladder to give his flowers to a sleeping Skitty. Then an Azumarril comes by chanting it's name for a few seconds. Then the video cut to a picture of the Grim Reaper's face, which scared several members in a classic example of a screamer.

The thread became nonexistent after the PPP was removed. The video itself has since been removed from Youtube due to "Terms of Use" violation.

Mugen's Many Masks

More information may be on its talk page.

Mugen often visited the boards with a proxy, registered a new account with it, and proceeded to post in an entirely different typing style with his superior acting skills. In this manner he would manage to keep his primary and secondary accounts active on the forums for extended periods before he was discovered.

He also had a habit of creating an unstoppable wave of members with the same name, such as Nintendogs, due to a board error that Retriever II fixed shortly.

Mugen was eventually banned indefinitely for the Phisherman Fiasco. He has already managed several unnoticed returns without being banned.

Despite seemingly not returning, at least in an obvious form, things he has worked on still come to the boards occasionally through other members who interact with him outside MFGG. Examples include signature animations "compressed by Mugenmidget" and fangames featuring content by or assisted by him.

Mr. Mxyzptlk

Mr. Mxyzptlk

Mr. Mxyzptlk was a Member of MFGG in Fall 2005. This member actually had grade A spelling and would post questions depending on the situation, for example if one were to say something stupid at Mr. Mxyzptlk, Mr. Mxyzptlk would say something logical. The original plan for Mr. Mxyzptlk's demise consisted of Mxy's impressive vocabulary skills and cool demeanor crumbling as he slowly died off from the fumes of his fine Cuban cigars. In it's stead, a more direct approach was taken as Mr. Mxyzptlk verbally attacked several MFGGers with crude insults, all-caps, horrible spelling and atrocious grammar until he was permanently banned by the administration.

It was later revealed, on April 21st, 2006, that this was actually the member Mugenmidget, on an alternate account.

Trivia

  • Mr. Mxyptlk is based on the character Mr. Mxyptlk from the Superman comic books.

Ryu

Ryu was a duplicate account made by Mugenmidget in September 2007. The character was based off Capcom's Street Fighter series. The majority, if not all of Ryu's posts were based on Ryu's moveset from the Street Fighter games, namely the "Hadoken" and it's various forms.

Ryu was joined by Sagat, another Street Fighter character and a duplicate off Allen. Sagat, like Ryu only posted the names of his Street Fighter techniques i.e. "Tiger Punch" and "Tiger Uppercut".

Both Mugen and Allen were banned thirty days by Trasher. Some have questioned the length of Allen's ban, arguing that as it was a first time offense for Allen, it should not be compared to Mugen who has a long history of duplicate accounts.

Nintendogs

Nintendogs is a user similar to King Piranha Plant or Chain Chompa, with the additional threat of trolling and intentional spamming.

He first appeared in early September of 2005, abusing proxies and a security hole dealing with Unicode characters to create myriad duplicate accounts, the names of which matched to the letter. Retriever II and Techokami have since fixed this, although a majority of the onslaught was by an accident of Techokami.

His typing style is similar to the children's show character Scooby Doo, in that most syllables are begun with the letter "r" with no regard to grammatical technicalities. He also had what could arguably be called hyena sex images in his signature.

On April 21st, 2006, after Phiserman's Fiasco, it was revealed that Nintendogs was actually Mugenmidget. Before this occurred, foolish members would call bluffs on new members to the forums and pester them much like the Salem witch trials.
