Microsoft Paint

From Mario Fan Games Galaxy Wiki

Microsoft Paint (MSPaint or simply Paint) is a very basic graphic editing tool that comes with Microsoft Windows. It has featured in the majority of Windows operating systems.

The standard version of MSPaint first appeared in Windows 95 (although simpler versions existed before then) and has featured in every Windows operating system to date without change (apart from the Windows Vista version which has a change in default palette, more "undo" levels and better zoom and crop functions). It has the ability to save images in BMP, GIF, PNG (XP and Vista only), JPEG and TIFF formats.

MSPaint is a highly popular choice among spriters because of its simplicity; however, at the same time, many look down on it as being an inferior graphics editor because of that. It is not recommended if the user wishes to make more detailed or complicated graphics, as the only real way to achieve this in Paint is to create pixel art.
