Metroid: Fan Mission (M:FM) is a Metroid fangaming website established by ShadowMan and Itokazu although is mostly maintained by Techokami. Metroid: Fan Mission houses resources to make fangames specifically targetted at the Metroid series of games. Like MFGG it hosts fangames as well.

Metroid: Fan Mission is significantly smaller than MFGG although had a strong community of nearly 500 members on it's forums until it was recently hacked. However, now it still has around 200 members in its database. It is currently hosted on brpxqzme.net and uses TCSMS.

M:FM is currently playing a role in the Nintendo Community Fangame Convention.

Near the beginning of 2009, the forums were hacked, and since then, a majority of the original active members have left, including most of the staff. RetroX and Elipzo run the site for the most part, although, occasionally, RetroX bugs Techokami to get stuff done.

As of September 15th, 2011, M:FM was put into archive mode. The site is still up, but no updates are made and no submissions are being accepted. The forums are still up, but they haven't been posted in since December 2013.
