Masahiro Sakurai was a joke account created by GeneralGuy on March 5th, 2008 with the permission of Yoshiman. He was the 5,000th member of MFGG, who tried to trick members into believing that he was the real Masahiro Sakurai (creator of the Super Smash Bros. and Kirby series) and hype them for Brawl's US release.

Upon joining, he created a thread in the Casual Conversation Castle, titled "Attention Brawlers". The thread recieved over 200 replies; comments of disbelief and excitement. Eventually, Jeff Silvers banned the Masahiro Sakurai account.
