Information shown is therefore liable to frequent change.

Mario Memories is a fangame that has been in production for nearly three years. Being programmed by Razz, this fangame has gotten surprisingly good reception, even from it's earlier days of production. People have constantly complimented Razz for it's slick and fast paced engine, it's unique graphics that manage to set it apart from other fangames, and it's strangely memorable characters.

Names

Mario Memories has gone through many, many names over the years. It's previously, and more well known, name was Mario's Epic Dream. Many people liked the name, simply because it was rather unique. The name has since been changed, to fit the style better. MM (Abbreviation for Mario Memories) was also referred to as Mario & Bowser's Tower, in the early days of production, back when the plot was completely different then it is now. Before Razz released the game to the public, he also went through several older names, most of which suck.

  • Mario Adventure
  • Mario Climb
  • Mario Jumpshift
  • Mario
  • Skyhigh
  • ect.

Sexy Eyes

Sexy Eyes are an original character from Mario Memories that almost always have something witty and funny to say. Some of the eyes are harder to find then others, but it's worth it. Sexy Eyes' popularity grew from an early demo of the game, where mario finds a few red eyes inside a jail cell. The words the eyes spoke was, "Walls can be sexy too ..." almost immediately MegaTailzChao posted complimenting the line, saying it "Was the best line in any fangame ever.". The popularity grew, and sexy eyes soon became the official Mario Memories Mascot.

New Graphical Style

Razz has already gotten surprisingly good reception regarding the new graphical style of the game. Resembling cave story, the game attempts to be retro and fun looking. The goal of course, is to welcome the player. Make him/her feel invited. Notice that the background images aren't pixelated like the sprites and tilesets are, leading to a rather interesting feeling of depth to the game.

Other info

  • Mario Memories is set to release a exactly a year from the day it was announced, at 8/27/09.
  • The game was inspired not by Mario, but by Banjo Kazooie. The game borrows many things from the famous n64 game, most of which you'll have to wait until a demo is released to see.
  • Mario will swim, this includes really deep oceans and lakes. The game will be roughly 40% water.
  • Razz plans to add in a more challenging and deep version of the Bowser fight from the original Mario game as a boss. Possibly even the final boss.
