Mario Kart HorrorWorld is a Halloween-themed Mario Kart fangame created by SMBMM using Goomdaddy's 2D Mario Kart engine. It was only released on a forum post, due to SMBMM having trouble with the site's uploader. However, it was later released on the main site a couple months later.

Gameplay

The game is made up of one very long track, and if you beat the track as you're in first place, you get to view one of three endings. While all three were identical, they each contained a different surprise. If you end with any position lower than first, then you will receive the bad ending. There are 3 missions you must do to be able to progress. Those missions are to pick the correct tombstone (Wrong one sends you a little far back), shoot Pumpkin Goombas with a Space-Invaders-style mini-ship, and to simply run over other Pumpkin Goombas.

NOTE: DO NOT LOOK AT THIS SECTION IF YOU WANT TO SEE FOR YOURSELF WHAT HAPPENS IN THE GAME During the game: Over time, Mario's body parts would disappear. 1st Place Ending: Mario's almost fully disappeared, as only his shoes are left. After walking to the middle of the screen, the shoes vanish, and then a tombstone for Mario is shown. All of a sudden, a creepy picture with a scream pops up. Below 1st Ending: The screen is wholly white. Mario, who is completely normal, soon splits in half and is then no longer seen, with blood spilling from his body.
