The Mario Fan Games Expo (MFGE) was a project that never really got off the ground. As the name suggests, MFGE was planned to be a Fangame expo, allowing users to show off their fangames over a set period similar to E3 or SFGHQ's SAGE. Though members such as Banana Head pushed for it to happen, entries were scarce and interest declined. A new Mario Fan Games Expo called MFG3 (a pun on E3) was stated to happen somewhere near August 2007, however it was completely replaced by the Nintendo Community Fangame Convention which will occur in late October of the same year. If NCFC is successful, chances are we will never see a MFGE again as the NCFC covers all Nintendo-related fangames.
