Mario Fan Games Expo never really got off the ground. Though members such as Banana Head pushed for it to happen, entries were scarce and interest declined. No one has bothered with it since.
However, a new Mario Fan Games Expo called MFG3 (a pun on E3) is stated to happen once again. It will showcase many different fangames and will be due somewhere near August.
