Mario's Time Battle 3 is the third and final game in ShadowMan's Mario's Time Battle series. It was released on June 12, 2008. The game serves to wrap up the confusing and surreal storyline. It was also released as part of Mario's Time Battle Anthology, along with its prequels on the same day.
Levels
- Birth: Mario slowly walks in the womb of creation. After hearing that "You are not a god", a giant Mario flies from the left hand side of the screen.
- Beginning of Time: Mario must traverse a world in the sky while hopping on green platforms. He picks up a green sphere at the end, and Nature is created.
- Nature: An otherwise empty level, Mario must head right while the sky changes colors from sunrise, to day, to sunset, and to night, and back again. He jumps into a pit to find Love.
- The Depths: Mario must navigate a series of platforms with only a little light next to him. At the end of the stage, he sees another Mario. They have a conversation, saying that the cycle must be stopped, that Mother controls everything, and Operation Chronos must be stopped.
- Somewhere in Austria - 64930 BC: Mario must jump high on falling platforms in this wavy level while avoiding the vertical scrolling. Once he touches the end, he flies through time with his paradoxes, but freezes at the end. The Mother talks to him and sends him back to the title screen of the first Mario's Time Battle.
- Somewhere in Austria - 1930: The first level of Mario's Time Battle. The introduction cutscene barely starts when it gets ripped apart.
- Space: Mario is sent to space, and must jump across platforms that disappear and reappear. He meets himselves at the end, and vow to stop Mother.
- Somewhere in Austria - 1930:In a level styled after Super Mario Land, Mario must quickly make it to the end while avoiding the raining fireballs. His paradoxes can shield him from the flames, but he only has so many. At the end of the level, the Mother appears and the stage shakes. Once Mario touches the Sky Pop at the very end of the stage, the game is won.
Trivia
- Shortly after release, Black Squirrel changed the Casual Conversation Castle board into "Casual Time Battle 3". The description was a screenshot of the "Space" level with the Walrus in the place of Mario.
