MFGG SYTYCS (So You Think You Can Sprite?) is a collective spriting tournament that was started by Clearness on July 25th, 2008. The tourney tests each and every spriters strength's and weaknesses and promotes teamwork and solo-work. The tournament works in rounds, in which a person(s) is given a subject and requirements for their pixel, the pixel that the judge(s) like best is chosen and the winner moves on to the next round yet the loser doesn't move on. In the end of SYTYCS there is a winner.
Before the 24 participants could enter SYTYCS, they needed to create a profile, which was judged and each person was put into a group that matches their spriting abilities.
The groups are:
- Beginner (30x30 - 50x50 sprites)
- Advanced (70x70 - 100x100 sprites)
- Experts (120x120 - 200x200 sprites)
