Late Night Luigi is a sequel to Glukom's first two "Late Night" games, Late Night Mario and Late Night Mario 2. A single-level demo was showcased at NCFC in 2011 and earned generally favorable reviews. LNL is designed to capture the zany, carefree charm of the original Late Night Mario game while building on the more substantial gameplay introduced in Late Night Mario 2.
After releasing this game, Glukom vanished without a trace from MFGG and Minus World. The original release date for LNL was March 2012, but progress stopped. Instead, Glukom released Late Night Mario 3 in time for the 2013 iteration of NCFC.
