King of the Mushroom Kingdom (KotMK), is a fangame under development by MK Development Team. KotMK takes place in the Mushroom Kingdom in the year 1814 AD, where Phyllis' kingdom is attacked by an evil force. No more will be revealed.
Story
Phyllis' Story:
When the game begins, a cutsceen starts. Phyllis is sleeping. Someone comes crashing through his door, a goomba, and hurridly wakes him.
"Phyllis! Phyllis, wake up!"
Phyllis groans and wakes.
"Ugh... Fred, why are you waking me so early?"
"It's today! It's today!"
"What?"
"Todays the crowning day, you idiot!" Phyllis jumps from his bed, hurridly dressing.
The scene then goes to the Springtime Festival, where Phyllis is to be crowned.
Before Phyllis is crowned, he gives a speech, called "I am not a King."
While giving the speech, the ground starts to shake, slowly at first, then like an earthquake. Dark spirits escape from cracks in the ground, while one larger, more powerful spirit steals and destroys the crown.
Characters
Phyllis
A young king, ready and willing to fight and travel, in hopes of saving his kingdom. In his youth, he traveled the land with his father. When his father died, he lived on his own, looking for shelter.
Howard
A stylish koopa, he was once part of "The Koopa Klan," a gang in Bob-omb City. He now lives in Seashore, which is near the Great Hills.
Geeth
A new version of Bob-Omb. He has shaggy black hair, which by itself is unheard of. He also has unuiqe programing, he can use magic.
Rocky
A Wrench Bro., once part of the Mushroom Aliance, a moderate ranking of the Mushroom Army. He got out of the Aliance a blacksmith (thus being able to create items with raw materials), with some small magic use.
MK Development Team
The MK Development Team consists of, so far, Project MK, Funky, TouchFuzzyGetDizzy, and FoxGuy(R).
