Once heralded as the "most respected member of the newer age," the wise owl was once a member of the MFGG forum back when he was troubled by anger management issues and proverbial adolescence - nontheless, it was the start of his career as a smarmy know-it-all and he remains not to be trifled with. He claims to be apart of the Flavian Dynasty of the Roman Empire and a descendant of the influential Vespasianus.
Biographical History
Joined the forums in early 2004 as TubbaBlubba2001 asking why the main site was malfunctioning. Later left the forums in peace.
During the following summer, his friend Qeomash opened a new site to replace his current one. Neither site was very popular and his members drifted -- on tracing the destinations of Web and TalkingMushrooms, TubbaBlubba2001 arrived at Mario Fan Games Galaxy and began posting in early 2005 when chicken pox prevented better use of time.
He arrived with a pompous aura and was quickly targeted for ridicule by the usual suspects, such as Duckboy and Hanyou. He eventually posted a picture of a ruptured appendix, and when warned for it by ShadowMan raised such a biased ruckus his heart was restored, but his relationship with the administration was negative.
Later posted a General Chat topic on the history of Nintendo and how he believed they were revolutionizing the gaming world, and always had. This topic caught Someguy's attention, and they became best of friends! Someguy and TubbaBlubba2001 began working on several projects, most notably Let's Go Thingio.
In the following May, TubbaBlubba2001 was reborn into Kaepora, and similar to his namesake is full of all the information you do not want to hear. He began repairing his ties with the administration, and is currently on good terms with Someguy, Medaforcer, Mugen, Press Start, Bungalo, Roxxorz your Boxxorz, Jas, Nightwing, and Cloakbass among others. While he does get sometimes overly heated in trivial debates, he is pretty likeable and doesn't have any specific enemies.
Kaepora and video games
For awhile Kaepora was said to be the go-to-guy for anything in relation to Nintendo, as he stood by Nightwing and NES Boy in terms of "knowing everything" in relation to the Japanese video game company. While Kaepora is an avid fan of video games, he has stated he shares more interest in the vital figures to the industry, and the industry in general rather than the actual games - he has stood still to his statement in regards to the market being flooded with lurid and boring RPGs in Japan, and boring shooters in America which he says might be the downfall of creative games (read: this was all said before the Wii's showing at E3). He's often flip-flopped in terms of who's side he's on; while he purchased an Xbox 360 on launch, his was unfortanately part of the 14% fail rate and the system failed. Because of his local outlet being unable to supply a replacement until May, he decided to buy a PSP.
He is also noteable for making a valid point out of his bias; because of this, he has been noted by members such as Mario Gamer as "Nintendo's future lawyer", as Kaepora has reportedly defended their "every downfall". Kaepora dismisses such speculation and states that everything he says in regards to the video game industry may come off as slanted, but also much more factual and not just merely opinionated.
His other strong noteable activity in terms of video games and the industry is his idolization of Gunpei Yokoi, and his creations (accordingly). Several members often mention Gunpei Yokoi satirically and playfully in hopes of egging on Kaepora; instead of simply refuting these members' statements, he will either ignore them entirely or send a shocking blow to the beholder of said comment.
Kaepora and fangames
Kaepora is the second driving force behind "Tech Wing", along with Someguy. While knowledgable in several programming utilities, he is not very skilled with them, so he moslty focuses his time and effort on level design, conceptual design, and dialogue/script writing. His "pet project", so to speak, is Super Mario Land 4: Stairway to Heaven which is on temporary hiatus due to engine rennovation in MMF2.
Among his own projects he currently assists Someguy greatly, has pledged support to Zorak's Super Mario Storm 2 (even though it may be in incremental purportions), and is helping Kamikaze T. Ukiki with Stanley Saga.
