If this thread reaches X posts

If this thread reaches X posts is a fad that emerged in May 2007. If the thread created hits a certain number of posts, then the user will do what he said he would in the first post. Notable such threads:

• Fupoo said he would draw everyone if his thread hit 1500 posts. When it did hit 1500, however, he changed it to 5000, and people wonder if he will uphold his end of the bargain.
• Techokami said he would change to Windows Vista if his thread hit 2000 posts by May 20th.
