How-tos

The How-to's section of MFGG is devoted to tutorials, mainly for The Games Factory and Multimedia Fusion, but can also be used for GameMaker tutorials too. Usually, the downloads consist of a open-source application, which can be opened to reveal how to do something in the program used. They are simply there for people to learn from, rather than just copying the code into their games without giving it much attention (This mainly applies to engines though).

Usually great engines aren't released as open source applications, which means that the majority of downloads in the How-to's section don't explain everything needed to create a game, but can help a considerable amount.
