Information

Screenshots from Helicopter Havoc

The fourth completed Mini-Game collaboration between Mario Gamer and Yoshiman, and third led by Mario Gamer. The game is based on a flash game called Fly the Copter. Production was last minute and worked on along side Tidal Toss's final release. A basic version was released to meet the 26th Mini-game competitions deadline, and followed with an updated version the next day. The game won the compo and Yoshiman was put in charge of a new idea. The game was completed on July 7th, and met with criticism from reviews.

Easter Eggs

Touching is fun

As usual with Mario Gamer and Yoshiman's games, background objects are interactive in the menus. Click on the different colored helicopter on the high score screen to make them explode.

The Black Helicopter

Look at the thumbnail on MFGG's website, specifically at the black helicopter. On the sides are written "Try Y". On the high scores table press Y to make a black helicopter appear that can be controlled using the arrow keys. Do not click on the black helicopter or you will bring Miyamoto's wrath upon your self.

Totaka's song

Let the credits roll to the end with the creator's thanks. Now let the credits sit for two minutes and Totaka's song will interrupt the screen.

Trivia

  • Placed first in the 26th Mini-game competitions
  • Look on the thumbnail for a clue to a easter egg
  • The menu's background changes corresponding with the user's real time
  • Mario Gamer's and Yoshiman's first mini-game not to feature a story
