Game Maker Language (GML) is a scripting language used in the Game Maker game creation program. It is a more advanced method than the Drag-and-Drop method of coding in Game Maker and considered far better and more extensible than it. However, many advanced programmers criticized that GML lacks of proper syntax such as semicolons.

GML also supports expansions such as DLLs and expansion packages made by various of people.
