Forum Moderator
A moderator (in the context of a forum moderator) has powers higher than regular members. Such powers include moving a topic, deleting a topic, editing posts and closing/opening topics. While they don't have as much power as administrators, they do hold a responsibility above members in keeping the forums as stable as possible in the absence of other moderators.
In June, 2007, the incumbent mods were made Global Moderators, while new mods were appointed for specific forums.
The current Global Moderators are Trasher, Captain Jeff Silvers, Jak, Fanguy, and Kommandant Dragmire.
The Forum Mods are Joey in the General Chat, Yoshiman in Fangame Discussion, Rage in the Arts Board, Tragic in the PPP, and Parakarry, Black Squirrel, ShadowMan, and Toodles_Team in the Submit-it. In addition, there exists a stripped-down variation of moderator known as a PPP Mod. Jas and Black Squirrel are such.
Past moderators include Nite Shadow, supertoad2k, and SonicProject.
