Draco Icebane is a confusing individual whose constant attempts to use and further his intellect cause many to misunderstand him, a problem many people of self-proclaimed high intelligence face. He has a habit of starting thousands of projects in single intervals and rarely finishing any one of them.

Draco joined on October 22, 2001, [roughly] on the ezBoard, and has maintained a controversial presence ever since.

Due to his questionable ethics and temper, Draco is extremely argumentative; combining this with his inability to leave an argument, Draco is the only regular member with a two-page warn log (Sasuke30 is banned).

General Personality

Draco often appears rude and arrogant, stating opinions as though they were factual and often speaking in a manner entirely inconsiderate of anyone around him. He tends to jokingly roleplay a character who believes he is "the most awesome dude in the world", but can appear entirely serious while doing so.

Draco is extremely strong in his opinions, not always in his support but undeniably so in his wording; he is often quite offensive and blunt, stating his views factually and claiming any other method is due to faulty logic. He often refuses to back down in any argument regardless of the case against him, and may degrade the argument into insulting his opponent or emulating a case of Phoenix Wright. This general mindset is met with varying degrees of approval or disapproval by his peers.

Although arguably quite intelligent, he is not very well motivated and his patience leaves much to be desired. His fangame projects are rarely completed, although he has completed a few generally well-accepted drawings in digital media, and a song or two.

Achievements and Hobbies

Draco starts and rarely finishes several projects primarily in Klik programs, such as Hexis. He had begun this when the For the King Minigame competition was announced, but never finished it.

  • Mario Awesome - The standard "Let's make an awesome Mario fangame" deal. It is not finished.
  • Hexis - A puzzle game that was never finished either.
  • Fire Emblem Online - Ryo didn't do it
  • Origin of Mobius - Yeah like Draco can do an indepth RPG in any practical amount of time
  • Rockbell - If he finishes that Mega Man engine, maybe he can make this game!

As seen, Draco has (figuratively... hopefully) ADD.

Artistic

Draco's skill in graphical arts is limited almost strictly to spriting and vector, which he is fairly competent at, but by no means legendary. Were his lack of motivation and patience to be skillfully defused, he would likely enter the competitions on the forums more often.

Draco is terrible at almost any form of traditional art and dislikes the lot, except for standard drawing on paper (which he is still bad at).

Draco is often considered a furry due to his current tendency of drawing anthropomorphic characters in consideradly less child-friendly manner, although he generally draws the line at (suggestive) nudity. He claims that this is due to his general inability to draw humans -- it's more acceptable to get half of the anatomy wrong on a non-human, for instance. He has recently drawn a human or two, though...

Member History

Draco's first appearance on Mario Fan Games Galaxy was on the original EZBoard, where Ultimate Mario, the "worst best Mario game ever", was revealed. At the time, it held one level and a myriad of horrendous programming errors. The game was later remade under several guises, notably Mario Starshine and then Mario Awesome, but a total lack of anything resembling motivation paused the project.

Constant arguments with the staff and Quickman led to Draco being banned quite constantly at a rate unprecedented until two years following when King Piranha Plant appeared. Draco has since resumed his record of consecutive bans and is one of the few members to have a two-page warn log. Draco's note: I'm almost certain that the next ban I get will start my 3rd page

When Hanyou joined, the very first socialism between Draco and him was an argument over something trivial; it is likely this same argument persists today, although neither of them remember the subject.

Defiance of the Trasher

Draco was involved in this event. After Trasher had banned SonicProject for fifteen days, Draco was informed by SonicProject. Draco contacted FanGuy and asked him to take a look at the situation. The result, at FanGuy's best judgment, was that SonicProject's ban was lowered, and Delmore and Trasher were suspended for five days.

Draco then wrote a poem entitled "The Graven" to explain what had happened. Although it (jokingly) villified Delmore and Trasher, it was generally well-accepted and recieved moderate praise. Contrary to popular belief, Draco was never issued any warning, verbal or actual, for its inappropriate timing or theme.
