Doodles was a new subforum of the Arts Board that opened with the new phpBB forums. Doodles was intended for members to showcase relatively "non-serious" artwork, while the main Arts Board is for things like sprite sheets and topics that previously would have gone in General Friendliness. However, the difference between the Arts Board and Doodles isn't huge, as the Doodles board quite often included some fairly impressive work.
