Donkey Kong is a fangame created by Toodles Team. It is a remake of the arcade game of the same name.

Story

In-Game

Pauline is kidnapped by Donkey Kong. Now Little Mario (aka Jumpman) must rescue her.

Backstory

"For a long time now, my uncle has said that he would like to have Donkey Kong on his computer. The most recent time was last Thanksgiving. About a week later, I thought to myself, "I have the ability to make games, don't I? Why don't I make Donkey Kong as a Christmas present for my Uncle!" So, yeah. That's the story. This game is a recreation of the arcade classic, Donkey Kong. It features all the levels, including the Pie Factory, and even the "Death Screen." It has a few minor bugs, but that's mainly because I only had three weeks to make it! Despite it's flaws, my uncle loved it and still plays it to this day, so I guess it served its purpose! Enjoy. Give suggestions if you'd like, but I don't plan to work on this game anymore."

Differences

• Mario has free air movement.
• Jumping, dieing, and beating the Pie Factory while the walk sound plays does not stop it.
• Either hammer frame can kill an enemy. In the original, only the visible hammer frame could defeat foes.
• There is some misalignment.
• You cannot gain extra lives.
• If you beat the Rivets stage while the hurry up music plays, it will continue until the "How High Can You Get?" screen.
• There is now MIDI music.
• It is 1-Player only.
• When collecting a rivet, the game makes you hop so you don't fall. However, when you have a hammer, you won't hop, making you fall.
• The game uses Game Maker's default high score board. Also, you can pull it up during play, effectively letting it act as a pause feature.
