Dark Yoshi joined MFGG in July of 2002. Though, he rarely posts, he almost always goes on the forums. Though he was 12 then, he caused a small flame war because the libs of his had nothing but his own furries on it.
The Dark Yoshi Flame War
MFGG was still a very small community in 2002 when the furry lib went up. A lot of the "criticism" Dark Yoshi received for his work was in that the entire lib file was composed of original sprites that represented his character. Though simplistic and not particularly amazing, the trouble centered around the fact that he dared to post original work. Up until this point original art was not a very common upload to MFGG. As such the community had an adverse reaction to the piece, citing the low quality of the art as proof that MFGGers time was better spent ripping sprites from ROMs. This was the first time Nightwing bothered to meddle in MFGG politics, he stepped in to defend Dark Yoshi for being a pioneer in drawing his own sprites. Which, at the time, was rather unheard of.
After that, he went into hibernation for some time, thanked the people who supported him during the flame war, and then he kind of died for a few months, then he came back and started posting again, never to post a lib for three years, however, he did post one tutorial.
Present
Today, he rests at home, after created the website Demon Sanctuary on September 19th, 2004. It is down now, as part of a fiasco over an MMF crack hosted on the website. He planned to reopen the website on September 19th, 2006, but due to many distractions *cough*WoW*cough* he failed to do so and has essentially given up on it.
As of Summer 2006, DY has become much more involved in the forums, due to the MFGG Wrestling forum game that he took part in, and is now somewhat accepted as an MFGGer. His oldest friends are Yoshiman, Techokami, Chris the Hedgehog, and Nite Shadow, though he has recently became friends with Über n00ber and Captain Jeff Silvers
