Dangery Run from the Angry Sun is a minigame by CloudyToucan where the player controls Waluigi and has to run from the angry sun which is being controlled by Francis from Super Paper Mario. It won Game of the Month in April of 2011.
Gameplay
The game acts similar to a Mario Party minigame, due to it's minute timer. The Angry Sun shoots flames at Waluigi, where he can avoid them by either jumping or simply moving out of the way. Sometimes, Francis will show up and try to lick Waluigi before going away. Coins usually appear and move to the left side of the screen, and can be collected in contact, but Waluigi will lose some if he gets hit.
Reception
The game earned mixed reviews from the main site. It was praised for featuring an underused enemy and has the vibe of a Mario Party minigame, but criticized it for it's bland HUD and not a whole lot of replay value.
