Story
Toad has been abducted by aliens! Now, with the help of an alien named Cappy that gives him the ability to attack with an electric aura, he must defeat the evil King Purplius!
Gameplay
The game plays like the platform Mario games, but uses a four health system instead. Taking out the power-ups, Toad uses an attack that creates an aura around him, which can attack most enemies and trigger switches. Like in Super Mario Bros 2, Toad can jump higher after ducking. Throughout the levels, Toad can look for discs, in which they hold data for the creatures, environments, and characters of the game.
