Thunder Dragon statue

From Mario Fan Games Galaxy Wiki

Back in the day of the EZBoard forums, for whatever reason a topic was posted talking about how MFGG would look like if it wasn't a forum, but rather a large office building. Someone eventually said that there would be a big golden statue of Thunder Dragon in the lobby with a sign saying "Don't touch." It is said that touching the statue would mean instant death, although it is rumored that Klobber ran over it three times with a dump truck, without any injuries. However, that story varies from person to person.

Eventually, Thunder Dragon created a signature depicting the statue in the lobby, featuring TD statue fan art by Dr. Wario and a sign bearing the words, "Don't Touch!" Cutman saw this and soon made an edit of the picture of himself poking the statue with a sweat drop.

It didn't take very long for everyone else to start making the statue getting touched by themselves in every way possible. Cutman didn't like the fact that everyone copied his idea, but the fad didn't last out very long, despite it remaining in pretty much everyone's signature. Yoshiman even made an edit of the image with him trying to defend the statue telling everyone to back off.

Thunder Dragon also gave Retriever II his own statue as a birthday present. Retriever's statue is much bigger than TD's, however lacks the "Don't Touch" sign, meaning anyone can touch it.

Toad Strikes Back has this statue at the end of World 1 Bonus level. Touching it kills you instantly. Similarly, its appearance in Abducted Toad and Super Mario Flashback kill you upon contact.

During the shenanigans of MFGG Wrestling 2013, Shadow Kami is rumored to have stolen it leaving a duplicate in it's place, which the duplicate that fatally injured Nite Shadow's character.
