SUPER Luigi's Mansion is a Luigi's Mansion fangame that is currently developed by No Name and Zoompop.

Development

Development started at the 20th of December, 2015, starting off as a Luigi's Mansion minigame. However though, No Name decided to make it more than just a minigame at some point. SUPER Luigi's Mansion was temporarily scrapped at some point during development, but in August 21, 2016, the project was continued from scratch. It used low poly models, since the game had a lot of unused textures, unused models, unused sounds, and a lot of unnecessary polygons in the mansion model. It was also because of the fact that Blender somehow crashes every time No Name wanted to change something, like moving the view, for example.

It got scrapped however, because No Name wanted to try something fresh, so he made lots of tech-demos in order to improve his Blender skills. He planned to continue SUPER Luigi's Mansion at some point of 2016, but that didn't happened until January 28, 2017, where No Name was ready to bring back to life SUPER Luigi's Mansion, and recovered an older backup version of the game. This is because on March 2016, No Name wanted to make Luigi's head moveable with the mouse, so he separated Luigi's head from the rest of the body, but he forgot to make a backup version of the previous "Headed Luigi version" and the project was discontinued for that reason.

In early 2017 , No Name recovered an older backup version of the game , and No Name decided to to bring back to life his big project : SUPER Luigi's Mansion , No Name reused from the backup , the whole HUD , Luigi model , script and others , also he re-programmed the Ghost IA to make it with shorter script and easier to change in case of bug , all this was made in 2 days , and a day later No Name showed a photo made with a mobile phone of the "2017 version" of SUPER Luigi's Mansion at W.I.P Topic.
